Well, since Andy has now been gone for two weeks, it's probably time to share the news...he joined the United States Navy as a Hospital Administrator.  He is currently in Rhode Island in Officer Training.  Yes, it is just like you imagine, lots of push ups, waking up at 4:00 am and regulations for everything, but not as intense as Basic Training.  After some job training at the beginning of the year we'll be headed to sunny Southern California!  If you want more details than that you'll have to call or email :).

Congrats! My sister-in-law did the officer's training in Rhode Island last summer as a nurse. She said it was grueling! Her husband is also in the navy, as get this, a hospital administrator! They are currently on a base in CA not far from San Fransisco. Is that near you, or the same base? Their names are Jim and Erika Moss if you're interested. Great people!
